Loved ones are devastated as they remember a former Marine from Orange County who was killed in a missile strike in Ukraine.Ian “Frank” Tortorici, 32, was a Marine Corp. veteran, a former law enforcement officer and a paramedic who was killed in Ukraine.“He really loved that country,” said Jon Frank, Tortorici’s father. “He would backpack and he was looking to one day retire and open a farm. He has so much kindness in his body that he would always do the right thing but never looked for any type of recognition. Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Wednesday a list of out-of-state driver's licenses that are no longer valid in Florida due to a new law considered to be its toughest immigration crackdown to date. DeSantis, along with the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, created the list of invalid licenses as part of the newly implemented Senate Bill 1718, which includes five states. (KRON) -- Authorities are searching for multiple suspects in connection to an armed robbery Saturday afternoon, the Oakland Police Department confirmed. The alleged robbery happened just before 5 p.m. in the 100 block of 98th Avenue. (AP) — Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone turned in a dominant performance in her newest event to win the women’s 400 meters at the U.S. track and field championships on Saturday night.Known as the record-setting 400-meter hurdler, McLaughlin-Levrone is proving to be a quick study as she learns the race on the fly this season. McLaughlin-Levrone made it look easy by cruising across the line in a meet-record time of 48.74 seconds.
