A 17-year-old girl is missing from Arvada, and her family, who fears she is endangered, asks for the public’s help in locating her to bring her home safely.Ayla Lu Reyes (Courtesy photo)Ayla Lu Reyes was last seen on Aug. 6 and she is “at risk and vulnerable,” her family said in a flyer posted on Facebook — Missing Persons of Colorado.Ayla may be with a 29-year-old man from Honduras, said Julie Mitchell, her aunt. Away from home, she is lacking prescription medicines and a support network.“Our family is concerned and worried she may be in harm,” Mitchell said. “We are working with police, trying to get her home safely. Police in Irvine are searching for a man seen on surveillance cameras allegedly stealing a victim's wallet out of a bag in a shopping cart. Footage of the July 29 incident released by the Irvine Police Department appears to show the man following the victim around the store and keeping an eye on an open bag resting in the cart. As the victim turns away to grab something in the freezer section, the man is seen taking an item out of the bag and moving out of frame. (KRON) -- A brush fire burning in the South Bay Wednesday afternoon is impacting traffic, according to a 511 alert. Cal Fire's Santa Clara Unit said the fire has torched 30 acres. The fire is near northbound US-101, north of Cochrane Road in Morgan Hill. The right lane of northbound traffic is blocked. It has been named the Cochrane Fire. Drivers are told to expect delays and avoid the area. There is no estimated time for the roadway to reopen. This is a developing story. ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Los Angeles Angels left-hander Reid Detmers hasn’t allowed a hit through six innings Wednesday night against the AL West-leading Texas Rangers.The 24-year-old Detmers threw a no-hitter as a rookie for the Angels last season against Tampa Bay. He was only the second Angels rookie to do so. Detmers, who was 0-4 in his previous six starts coming into the game, had five strikeouts and two walks through six innings.
