All lanes of Bay Bridge reopen following police activity

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Police activity on the Bay Bridge is creating major traffic gridlock for evening rush hour commuters trying to drive from San Francisco to the East Bay. The incident began at 5 p.m. as a shooting on Interstate-80. The shooting prompted the California Highway Patrol to close I-80's eastbound lanes near the toll plaza, as well as the I-80 connector ramp to I-880 south. Car that veered off Sanchez stairs was carjacked All lanes reopened by 6 p.m., the CHP said. A massive traffic backup remains on the bridge, however, with cars moving at a crawling pace along the bridge's eastbound lanes. San Francisco city streets have also been impacted by lines of cars waiting to get on the Bay Bridge. Bay Area bridge incidents have caused severe traffic delays for two out of the last three business days.This is a developing story. DETROIT (AP) — Shohei Ohtani had two walks and two runs, Mickey Moniak hit a tiebreaking RBI double in the 10th inning and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Detroit Tigers 7-6 on Tuesday night after blowing a four-run lead in the ninth inning.Ohtani is potentially in his last week with the Angels. DENVER (KDVR) -- The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an endangered missing alert for a woman who witnesses say was last seen being "forcibly kidnapped" in Aurora.The alert says Jessica Meise, 43, was last seen being forcibly kidnapped/abducted by Lance Foster, 43, at 26000 E.
