MENANDS, N.Y. (NEWS10) - The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society launched a social media campaign in an effort to get one of their longtime residents, Scarlett, adopted. Scarlett arrived to the shelter in 2021 as a puppy when animal control found her in Troy. #ScarlettSundays for sheltered dog of 3 years Scarlett is believed to be a Mastiff Mix, and weighs about 85 pounds. She's described as energetic, but sensitive. She takes a couple meetings before she melts at your feet.Scarlett has lived at the shelter for almost three years.Scarlett has had two surgeries on her right back leg while she's been at the shelter. They're not sure if it was congenital or an injury, but she may need additional medical attention in the future. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man was arraigned Wednesday on a 13-count indictment charging that he distributed and possessed with intent to distribute several controlled substances, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). According to the DOJ, Morgan allegedly distributed cocaine and methamphetamine through 12 sales since August 2022. When he was arrested, he allegedly possessed and intended to sell additional quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as fentanyl.If convicted, Morgan also faces a fine of up to $1M and a term of supervised release from four years to life.City aldermen discussing water rate hike today

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis City board of aldermen will have its first real debate Thursday morning of the proposed legislation that would significantly raise the water bill for city residents. The board of aldermen will meet at the City Hall at 10:00 a.m. Among their agenda item perfecting board Bill 49 or the water rate bill. One city official told FOX 2 that a "spirited conversation" is expected.As the water rate bill takes the spotlight, FOX 2 was granted access to take cameras inside the city's water treatment plant, seeing leaky pipes and broken pumps.Kurt Skouby, the director of public utilities for the city of St. Louis, told FOX 2 that there is always going to be some leakage inside the facility, but it shouldn't be as much as we saw. Skouby said the city's water department is in desperate need of additional funding to keep up with inflation, repairs and infrastructure needs. ST. LOUIS - Crews are at the scene of an accident the left a driver seriously injured Thursday morning. Our Nissan Rogue Runner reporter Nic Lopez was at the scene located on I-170 southbound at St. Charles Rock Road, where state troopers were blocking multiple lanes and are still investigating the scene. The cause of the crash has also not yet been revealed. SLU's Aviation Summer Academy returns this week. 20 campers from 17 high schools across Missouri, Illinois, California, New York and Texas will attend a course at St. Louis Downtown Airport in Cahokia Heights.
