One of the Bay Area’s most popular TV anchors retires from KRON4 Pam Moore, one of the Bay Area’s most popular and acclaimed TV anchors, has retired from KRON4.She brought her career as KRON4 news anchor — a position she had held since March 1991 — to a close with a broadcast on June 29.“It is difficult to find the appropriate words to thank everyone,” Moore posted on Facebook. “I am so honored and blessed to have worked in the San Francisco Bay Area news market all these years.. and to work with such great professionals .. many of whom are now my dear and lasting friends.“Through the tests of any job, I have had the opportunity to work in one place for more than three decades… and to try and serve the people of the Bay Area who are also a part of my life..
