WHITE CREEK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Bennington man pleaded guilty on Monday to possessing drugs after being arrested in June after a traffic stop. On June 21 at 1:42 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on State Route 22 in White Creek for vehicle and traffic law violations. The driver was identified as Katie Whaley, and police determined she did not have a valid driver’s license.Bump was identified as the passenger, and according to police, further investigation uncovered felony-weight narcotics and drug packaging inside the vehicle. Whaley and Bump were subsequently arrested. SHREWSBURY, Mo. -- Police are searching for two carjacking suspects after a vehicle was stolen from someone at an apartment complex on Monday. The vehicle was found hours later after a crash in the Spanish Lake area.A driver called police to report witnessing an armed robbery near the intersection of Weil Avenue and Jacobs Coal Road. Officers found a carjacking victim there at around 7:15 p.m.The man told police that he pulled up to his home and got out of the vehicle. He was then approached by two men with what the police describe as Glock-styled handguns. They stole his keys, got in the vehicle, and drove off. A teenager was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a crash that left his two passengers dead and forced the closure of southbound lanes on the 5 Freeway through Santa Fe Springs Tuesday morning. The crash was reported at 1:39 a.m. just north of Carmenita Road, according to the California Highway Patrol's traffic incident log. An armed suspect is wanted for vandalizing approximately 30 vehicles in Koreatown. Violent Crash Near Chesebro Road Left Male Driver DeadAGOURA HILLS, CA (December 5, 2023) – A vehicle crash along 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills claimed the life of Erick Quezada Osuna.The fatal incident occurred around 3:06 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Ventura (101) Freeway at Chesebro Road.According to CHP, a black Ford Mustang collided with a second vehicle, causing it to go off the freeway.Subsequently, the Mustang crashed into a pole and split the vehicle into multiple pieces before catching on fire.Good Samaritans at the scene tried to extricate the driver and use dirt to help put out the fire in the Mustang. Two Pedestrians Killed by Impaired Driver on Military ParkwayDALLAS, TX (December 5, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a deadly DUI crash claimed the lives of Lester Matute-Urquea and one other person.The incident happened at the 6700 block of Military Parkway around 5:00 a.m., November 12th, involving a vehicle and two pedestrians.Upon investigation, the troopers learned that 23-year-old Joel Rosales-Perez was traveling eastbound when he drove off the highway and collided with another vehicle.Furthermore, two people were outside of the vehicle, one later identified as 21-year-old Matute-Urquea, who was then struck by Rosales-Perez.
